I admit that no matter the foul situation, Michigan State would have lost the way they played tonight. MSU turned the ball over way too much to be competitive. Sorry Clark Kellog, size had nothing to do with it. However in tournament play this year against the Big East, Big 12, and ACC the Big Ten overall had a 4:3 on the foul ratio. The only game in which a Big Ten team got a foul advantage over one of these conferences was Michigan vs Clemson. Seems a little fishy. There some games that were just ridiculous like Purdue vs UConn (26-12 fouls). It's time for referees to just call the game down the middle and stop bending over backwards for the Big East and ACC. That's the media's job.
