McDespicable...the real John McCain.

John McCain used to be someone who I disagreed with, but still respected. Within the last few weeks, my respect has gone out the window with his integrity. Now as the ad says he has diminished to dirty tactics and outright lies. As the ad states some of the media has had enough of the formerly honorable Senator's tactics. One such attack was that Obama wanted to teach comprehensive sex education to kindergartners. Something that is simply untrue. The main purpose of the bill in question for children of that age was to let them no what was appropriate and inappropriate contact from another person. Only Senator McCain could take a bill whose purpose was to help children who being abused and use it as an attack.

There of course is a bigger problem here. McCain's campaign feels absolutely no need to tell the truth. For example, McCain continually says that Obama's tax plan will raise taxes on most Americans despite the fact that he knows that to be untrue. If the media contradicts them with the truth, it is simply the liberal media distorting McCain. If someone in the media asks him about it, he tells them that he is a war hero. On the tonight show Jay Leno asked him how he did not know how many houses he had. Senator McCain launched into a speech about his time as a P.O.W. How bad are things getting when you are dodging questions from Jay Leno? The problem is that the American people are obviously buying it. The recent poll says that race is extremely close. Two weeks ago Obama had a very clear advantage. The Sarah Palin announcement has played a huge part in that. The McCain campaign continues to make the assertion that she turned down the bridge to nowhere, despite clears evidence to the contrary. McCain has now realized that Americans want change. So even though he his policies on education, taxes, economics, foreign affairs, and the war are identical George Bush, he is now telling you he is going to change America. We have all heard that politicians say what they have to in order to be elected. What message will it send to politicians if McCain is elected? It seems that America is saying we like being lied to keep it up. How bad has gotten? Karl Rove, the mastermind behind attack John Kerry's war record and author of McCain has a baby by a Bangladeshi prostitute, thinks that "McCain has gone too far, and attributing to Obama things that are beyond the 100% truth test." Come on
