Do I not understand codenames?
Well Obama's Secret Service codename is Renegade. The media knew it right away. I thought codenames or codes were things that people used so that those listening in wouldn't understand what is being said. If everyone knows the code, is it a code? Why don't they just call him president or Obama, since everyone already knows what their talking about.

It's probably his red herring codename then he's got a real secret codename like "leprechaun" that nobody else knows. Then if someone calls him "renegade" they know they're faking it.
I like leprechaun. Secret Service - if you're reading this, you're welcome to use leprechaun.
I think dumbo would be good, but I like leprechaun too. I hope that it's the case that he has another one. But this is the same country that allows our news networks to show the inner workings of a stealth bomber.
