Racism is not dead

Today I was at the dentist. My hygienist said something about my birthday being on Christmas. Then she asked, "Did you get Jewed out of presents." I was stunned that someone would make that racist of a remark, that I just sat there dumbfounded. Also it's somewhat hard to talk with that sucking thing in my mouth. I guess that's kind of a cop out. I'm still debating on whether I should call the office to complain. For those that think just because we elected a Black President that racism is over, you are sorely mistaken. With such huge injustices in our judicial and educational systems and work discrimination, we need to remember that the fight against racism and injustice is never gone.
