There is going to be a summit for voters about values. This conference is heavily supported by the Christian right. If values only means pro life, then I guess they have it covered. I have been amazed that having "values" in America seems not have anything to do with how a person acts in the personal life. It simply means that you don't believe in abortion. The panel of speakers is full of people I find to morally reprehensible. The panel includes noted racists like Rush Limbaugh, Pat Buchanan, Glenn Beck, and Bill O'Reilly. Before someone jumps on me about any of these. Just go to youtube type in any of these guys names and then the word "racist". If you like what you hear, then respond. I have no idea why a Rush is speaking on values at all. He has been divorced three times, and he is a complete hypocrite. After railing on drug offenders and criminals for years on his program it turns out that he is both. And hilariously on got his case thrown out due to a precedent from a case won by the ACLU. I am really tired of the Republicans claiming the moral high ground and assigning all their beliefs to be Christian. If anyone can show me the biblical argument for gun ownership or tax cuts for the rich, I'm all ears.
I can see it coming, and history may be doomed to repeat itself. After Bush Sr started our economy on a downward turn, America turned to Clinton. He fixed our problems and we saw prosperity in America. Republican leadership had nothing except morals to run on in 2000. We elected Bush Jr. Instead of giving him 4 years to start our economy on a downward turn, we gave him eight years to destroy it. So we turn to Obama. After he fixes the economic system over the next eight years, and he will. The Republicans are once again going to try to run soley a moral campaign. Without a sex scandal it might be tough, but please don't fall for it again America.
Finally if can anyone tell me why anyone would want to hear Stehpen Baldwin talk about anything?

You stated your case against the Republicans well. (Though most of the men you targeted are not Republicans.)
Granted the Republicans are weak morally, but it would appear the Democrats are even weaker. Democrats support and fund the murder of children. It was a Democrat who launched the only nuclear attacks in history. It was Democrats who fought to keep slavery legal. It was Democrats who kept Jim Crow going for a long time.
Both party's have their dirt because both party's are run by fallen humans. You need to start building up your party rather than tearing down your biggest competition if you want to turn Christians into Democrats.
Though the men I targeted claim to be neutral. They speak only at Republican events and side with only Republicans. While Democrats do condone abortion, Republicans have not outlawed abortion (even though they promised to) when they had house, senate, executive, and supreme court control. As far as slavery, I think we all can agree that both parties have changed over the last 100 years. Also while southern democrats supported Jim Crow, Republicans did not stand against them. It was Democrats John Kennedy, LBJ, and Robert Kennedy that spoke and fought against Jim Crow. As far as Harry Truman's decision to drop atomic bombs, most historians agree that it actually saved lives. I agree that the Democrats are flawed, but they don't claim to be the moral standard. Republicans to claim to be the moral party, and the party of values.
Great, so you still have not said what is great about Democrats. Imagine if you tried to lead someone to Christ by ranting about how bad Islam is. Do you actually think it would work? Because that's pretty much what you are doing in your blog entries except that your are trying to convince people to be Democrats. As I am not a Republican your rants against Republicans do little to change my political opinion.
There is a historical error in your response. Republicans never changed on the slavery issue. They came into being as an anti-slavery party.
